Four Star Anarchist Organization believes all people must have control over their living conditions. Our core values are cooperation, equality, and direct democracy:
*In our families, women, children, and all members must have equality and freedom from violence.
*In our neighborhoods, community and economic development must be decided by all; everyone deserves access to housing, healthcare, education, and food.
*Those who work in our stores, offices, and factories must have the power to determine their own working conditions, and to keep a fair share of the profits their work produces.
The name “Four Star” is a reference to the stars on the Chicago flag; it shows our intention to connect to local issues. We describe ourselves as an “anarchist organization” because we believe in anarchist principles like mutual aid, direct democracy, and direct action.
